Vivian Maier, In Her Hands
The exhibition comes from the desire to pay tribute to this extraordinary artist who during her lifetime has made an impressive number of photographs without them ever seeing anyone, as if to keep them jealously for herself.
Through a story in pictures composed of more than one hundred photographs – most of them never before exhibited in Italy – black and white and color, as well as super 8 mm films, the exhibition describes Vivian Maier closely, leaving it to the works themselves to highlight the most intimate and personal aspects of her production.
